Gen. James Jones to Keynote 65th Anniversary Ceremony of Battle of Iwo Jima
TRIANGLE, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Gen. James Jones, U.S. National Security Advisor to President Obama, will participate in a special ceremony commemorating the 65th Anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima at the National Museum of the Marine Corps at 11 a.m. on Feb. 19, 2010. People from all around Hampton Roads honored America’s veterans Wednesday. In Chesapeake, the wind and rain didn’t stop the annual Veteran’s Day Wreath Laying Ceremony, although it did move it indoors.
