Serious accident blocks VB roadway
Emergency crews are on the scene of a serious accident in Virginia Beach. Police say it happened just before 9:00, Saturday night at the intersection of Indian River Road and Orchard Spring Way.

Firefighters rescue injured Virginia Beach worker
About 3:50 p.m., dispatch received a report that a pipe had struck a construction worker at the intersection of Crimson Holly Lane and Lynnhaven Parkway, causing injuries that trapped him in a 14-foot-deep ditch, said Battalion Chief Ken Pravetz, a Fire Department spokesman.
